Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
A road closure is required on Orston Lane at the level crossing on 24th May 2021 for 2 nights only (23:30pm – 05:05am).

Prior to the COVID-19 the law did not permit Parish Councils to meet remotely, it was as a result of the pandemic that emergency powers were put in place to allow for virtual meetings. These powers come to an end on 7 May 2021 and recently the High Court ruled that meetings under the 1972 Act must again take place with the participants gathering face-to-face at a designated physical location.
