TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER - Main Street, Muston

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

A road closure is required on Main Street for 50 metres approx. from the A52 junction on 14th September 2021 for 1 day (09:00am – 15:00pm).

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order has been implemented for public safety, so Leicestershire County Council can undertake footway repair works.... Read More »

BOTTESFORD NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN - REFERENDUM RESULTS

The Bottesford Parish Neighbourhood Plan Referendum took place yesterday.

The question asked was: Do you want Melton Borough Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Bottesford to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?

Social acceptability of carbon neutrality in Bottesford community

A master student in the school of geography at the University of Nottingham is undertaking a study which aims to investigate residents' attitudes and possible behaviours towards carbon neutrality.

Walk-in vaccination clinics to be held in Melton this weekend

This weekend Saturday 31st July and Sunday 1st August walk-in vaccination clinics will be held at Melton Sports Village, Burton Road, Melton Mowbray LE13 1DR. Both clinics are welcoming all local residents that are yet to have either their first or second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

A big thank you to Bottesford & District Women's Institute

Thank you to all of the volunteers from the Bottesford & District Women's Institute for the amazing job they did clearing the planter near the Co-operative store on Queen Street.

The volunteers also did some work on the gardens behind the Co-op and plan to return to do more work!

Notice has now been given for the referendum on the adoption of the Bottesford Neighbourhood Plan.

The referendum will be held on Thursday 2nd September and the question that will be asked is;

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

A no waiting or loading order is required on Queens Street on 5th August 2021 for 1 day.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order has been implemented for public safety, so Leicestershire County Council can install 5 new street lighting columns.
