Allotment Site Information

Bottesford Parish Council manages 92 allotment plots over four sites. Sites are situated on Grantham Road (2 sites either side of the Grantham Road Play Area), Easthorpe Road and Pinfold Lane. When visiting the sites the sense of community and hard work amongst the plot holders is always evident and these areas of green contribute so much to our environment.

Allotment plot holders must live within the parish of Bottesford (Bottesford, Easthorpe, Muston and Normanton) boundaries during their tenancy.

We are currently managing a waiting list for plots so we will confirm receipt of your application form and contact you again when you reach the top of the list and a plot becomes available. We will send out an annual letter asking you to confirm that you still want an allotment and will give an indication of where you currently are on the waiting list.

How much does it cost?

Allotment rents are calculated at the rate of £0.25 pence per square metre or part square metre subject to a minimum annual rent of £12.00.

Tenancies taken from 1st April to 30th September will be charged at a full years' rental. Tenancies taken after the 30th September, will be charged a half year rental.
